Santa Visits with the Rudolphs

Each year the Greenhills Kiwanis comes around dressed as Santa Clause to see the children of Greenhills. They put an article in the Greenhills Journal and you call to RSVP for your kids. That way Santa knows where to go (and what the kids' names are!) Well, this year Santa was supposed to come on Tuesday, December 16. He was supposed to come between 6 and 8. We had both boys dressed in their Christmas gear, waiting for their picture with Santa. We waited, and we waited, and we waited. And Santa never came!!! Luckily we had just told Matthew he had a "special visitor" coming, so he didn't know who it was. We just told him that his special visitor got busy and didn't make it. So I called the people in charge to see if Santa still had time to come and visit. Santa called back and said he wanted to come by on Friday. So we had round two of Christmas clothes and waiting for the "special visitor". Finally, he came. He pulled in our driveway (did you know Santa drives and SUV?) and came to visit. Here are our pictures...very different from the screaming picture we have from last year!



And this is Matthew crying because Santa didn't bring the cars that he asked for. Poor kid doesn't understand the concept of time and that Santa doesn't bring what you ask for until Christmas!
