This past weekend we had a deer come in our yard! One would think that living as close to the park as we do that we might see more, but we have never seen a deer in the four years we've lived here. This little one walked across the street, hopped our fence and helped herself to the delicious pears from our pear tree. She must have thought they were quite yummy because our neighbor told us she came back the next day. She's very welcome to clean up our back yard for us, just as long as she leaves our tomatoes alone....
