Here we go...a little early!
Today I went to the doctor and I'm already 4 cm dialated. Last week I was less than one...so that led us all to think that this baby is likely coming soon. The doctor said that she didn't expect me to make my appointment next week!! She asked how close we lived to the hospital and said that if my water breaks, I need to move quickly. Needless to say, we left the doctor feeling a little overwhelmed at the prospect of having a baby so soon....and overwhelmed with all the things that have to happen before it can! Tonight we are quickly making our preparations (like finally packing our bags!). We'll keep you updated on what goes on. Who knows....it could still be a couple weeks (I have a little over 4 until my due date).

Mary, after we talked tonight I was sitting on the porch with Mara telling her that Mary was going to have a baby very soon. She said, "Mommy's baby?" No, not Mommy's, Mary's-why not wonder:)
Then I asked her if she thought Matthew was going to be excited to have a new baby at his house. She said, "He likes Car Movie cars."- I assumed implying that cars are move fun than new babies
I asked her what it would be-a boy she claimed.
THen a quick change of mind, "A girl like mommy's baby." We'll see if any of her predictions are true:)
We miss you guys and can't wait to meet the new baby, whenever it does come. I wish we could be there for you.
I love being able to check in on you guys and hear about your family. I'll keep you guys in my prayers as the new baby quickly approaches -- seems baby has his or her mom's strong will!
